Information
There are composite mattress and then there’s the Silentnight Montreal mattress. Composite mattress take advantage of two support types but the Montreal uses three to give you the perfect balance of support and comfort. Firstly the memory foam layer at the surface moulds to your body’s shape but this sits upon 800 Mirapocket springs, a technology exclusive to Silentnight which features their unique Miracoil springs as well as traditional pocket springs. This hybrid technology offers great support, particularly tot he lower back and prevents sagging and disturbance.
The Montreal is a recent addition the the Silentnight Select collection and is also one of the cheapest options while delivering some of the highest specifications. I’ve chosen to write a Montreal review as I expect to become one of the best selling mattresses. The use of memory foam and eco-comfort fibres make this a hypoallergenic mattress and it is rated medium firm which is the ideal rating if you want a supportive mattress without compromising on comfort. The Montreal mattress measures 29cm thick, far thicker than other mattress of a similar price range evident due to the extraordinary amount of features Silentnight have fitted into it.
To show their confidence in this relatively new variety of mattress, Silentnight are giving a 5 year warranty to ensure its quality. The thick padding is visible in the picture of this mattress and sits under a high quality knitted cover with a stylish zig-zag quilted pattern around the edges.
